Oat clusters are such a great, healthy snack to nibble on throughout the day. Most store bought versions are high in FODMAPs so we thought we'd share our yummy gut-friendly version.
These yummy ones were made by Fodbods' new Marketing Executive and qualified nutritionist, Thimpika.
Ingredients
1.5 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup of low FODMAP nuts (walnuts, brazil nuts, peanuts)
3 tsp buckwheat kernels
2 tsps chia seeds
1/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp dried cranberries
1 tbsp malt extract
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Heat oven to 160°C
Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl
Mould mixture into clusters and spread evenly on a baking tray
