Gut Loving Overnight Oats

There’s nothing more versatile than these delicious oats – feel free to get creative! Note: You’ll need jars!

Ingredients (serves 1):

Base recipe:

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • 1 TBSP LSA
  • ½ TSP maple syrup
  • ⅔ cups of almond milk

Banana nutella:
To overnight mixture, add:

  • ½ firm mashed banana
  • ¼ TSP ground nutmeg
  • 1 TSP cocoa powder,
  • 1 TSP crushed hazelnuts
  • 1 TSP choc chips (optional)

Cookies & Cream:
To overnight mixture, add:

  • ½ cup vanilla yoghurt
  • 50g of chocolate nibbles

PB & J:
When serving, add:

  • 1 TBSP peanut butter,
  • 1 TBSP chopped peanuts,
  • ¼ cup raspberries (can be frozen)

Lemon Coconut:
To overnight mixture, add:

  • Juice + zest of half a lemon
  • 1 TBP coconut
  • 1 TSP maple syrup

Lamington:
When serving, add:

  • 1 TSP shredded coconut,
  • 1 TSP cocoa powder
  • ½ TSP maple syrup
  • 1 TSP choc chips (optional)

Nutty Delight:
When serving, add:

  • 1 TSP shredded coconut
  • 1 TSP chopped walnuts
  • 1 TSP choc chips
  • ½ TSP maple syrup

Method:

  1. Add the dry ingredients to the jar
  2. Add the almond milk and maple syrup, stir until the mixture is well combined and there are no clumps of chia seeds at the bottom of the jar.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight
  4. Toppings to be added to overnight mixture or when serving
