High Protein Chocolate Mug Cake

This high-protein chocolate mug cake is super moist, gooey, and loaded with chocolatey goodness. No flour, butter, or FODMAPs - just natural, wholesome ingredients that you know and love. Perfect for an afternoon or after-dinner treat! 

You can whip it up with less than 5 ingredients, in less than 5 minutes! 


Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • + your favourite Fodbods protein bar



  1. Crack the egg into a microwave-safe mug and whisk well. 
  2. Add in cocoa powder and maple syrup and mix until well combined.
  3. Chop your Fodbods bar into small, bite-sized pieces and add to the cake mixture. 
  4. Place the mug into the microwave for 45-60 seconds and ENJOY!
